Alberta: already here :) :) :)
Christmas: 3 more sleeps!!! That's means we can open presents in about 56 hours!!!
Mexico: 20 more sleeps!!!! So that means in approximately 473 hours my family and I will be Mexico bound!
My Birthday: 75 more sleeps aka 1785 hours until I am 18 :D

My Logbook Entries

A while ago in creative writing class, we were doing our own personal logbooks. We kept track of what we did, everyday, for a month. All of them varied to what they had drawn or writen on them, and to how long they were. You could really add anything that had to do with your day. I mostly stuck with writing and doing little doodles to represent what I did. They're interesting to do, and kind of fun, (besides when it was a long weekend, and you may have forgotten what you did for the past few days) but it's super cool to look back and to see what you did on an exact date. These aren't all of mine, but I did about 4 boxes for each day, so I didn't want to have a ton of pictures of just my days, so I thought these were my best and most exciting ones!

This week I have heard 2 quotes that have really made me think, and in a way, kind of change my perspective on certain things. The quotes are:

"Live simply, so others can simply live." 
This one just showed me and made me realize that we shouldn't be greedy, and that not everyone is as fortunate to have the basic necessities to live. So taking more than you need deprives others.

"The best choice might not always be the easy choice."
This quote explains to me that sometimes doing the best or right thing for you may not always be the easiest thing to do. That sometimes it has to get a little worse before it can get better.

"You best be saving me some of that!" Harold shouted.
"Why do I have to?" Lily asked.
"Umm.. because we're sharing?"
"Why do I have to share?! You know I don't even like smokes." Lily said as she rolled her eyes.
"B-b-but, I thought that's what we agreed on..." Harold quietly mentioned just as his eyes were about to water.
"Stop being such a baby! We never agreed on that!"
Just before Harold got up and was about to leave, he added, "Okay fine then, I'm never going to share anything, ANYTHING with you ever!!! So, that means you can't touch my toy cars, especially the bright blue one" 
Lily grabbed his arm and pulled him back, sat him down and offered him the bottle. "Here. You know those are my favourite toys of yours."
Before Harold accepted it, he was hesitant, but he looked at Lily and could tell she meant it. He happily said, "Thank you!"
Lily smirkingly said, "You owe me."
They both laughed as Harold passed the bottle back and said, "Ok. You can have the toy car as a gift."
